About Us
Located in St. Mary, Palmetto Falls is a 129-acre property lovingly maintained by our family for over 50 years. Rich in agricultural history, it has been transformed from a banana packaging site into a vibrant eco-tourism and community wellness retreat.
Palmetto Falls is more than just a place – it’s a living, breathing experience rooted in the lush hills of St. Mary Parish, Jamaica. Tucked away from the bustling tourist spots, we offer travelers a rare chance to connect with Jamaican culture, nature, and community in a meaningful way.
What do we offer?
Farm Tours – Walk through our working farm and learn about Jamaican crops, traditional farming methods, and local fruits like mangoes, breadfruit, and ackee.
Farm-to-Table Tastings – Savor delicious meals prepared with fresh ingredients straight from our soil. This is Jamaican food at its most authentic.
Nature Trails & Relaxation – Explore scenic walking trails or sit back under a tree and soak in the peace that only rural Jamaica can provide.
Cultural Activities – From storytelling to local craft demonstrations, our community brings the island’s rich heritage to life.
Our Promise
We open our land to both locals and international guests to explore, relax, and reconnect—with nature, with food, and with each other. Our spaces offer quiet river walks, curated agricultural trails, and joyful immersion in Jamaica’s cultural landscape.
Our Mission
Founded as a local family-run initiative, Palmetto Falls has grown into a hub for agriculture, sustainability, and community tourism. We're proud to be part of Jamaica’s REDI II program, supported by JSIF and the World Bank, which helps develop climate-smart, people-centered tourism across rural areas.
Our Vision
Whether you're planning your next trip to Jamaica or exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, Palmetto Falls invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and experience the rhythm of rural life.
